I was very impressed with 700 Block Storage.   Facility is clean, good location, and units are accessible.  And, amazing service.  I called with a challenge that wasn't easily resolved. always prefer going through a private company than a national chain but in this case it especially paid off. these guys were super chill and casual, no weird corporate stuff going on here. the price was fair, and they never tried to surprise raise my rent. they were super easy to contact and very communicative, and all i had to do was give a 10 day notice to move out. the place is air conditioned, it felt secure, the elevators are big (the right elevator has a slightly wider door opening around 4'-4") there's a bathroom, the only downside is the lights didn't really shine inside my unit, but i could still see enough.

A fantastic self storage facility in downtown salt lake. If you need storage in salt lake this place is amazing. It’s locally owned. People are in the office, they answer their phones. They have all the features you could possibly want. I have not seen any dust or bugs. The lighting is great. The restrooms are clean. Elevators are clean. No homeless and the unit sizes are huge. First time using a storage unit and these guys were awesome. Made it really easy. Chose the unit because of the reviews and wasn’t disappointed. They’ve also got U-Haul vehicles on site and make it easy to pick up, very accommodating. Clean facility. No rats. If you’re looking up this review, consider yourself lucky: this is by far the best self storage I’ve ever come across. Impeccably clean, gorgeous new facility, and the people running the place — shoutout to Ben — treat this place and your service like you’re a VIP. Walked me through the options available (how is anything even available here? Should be a waitlist for this place). Gave me their best deal. I needed to purchase, very last minute, a rental truck to help me move from my home and Dallas was the was first person to answer the phone in the SLC area after close to ten attempts to other uhaul affiliates  and i am so glad he did. He was fast, efficient and cheerful. I was clearly Stressed and he immediately calmed my nerves and helped me reserve exactly what I was looking for in under ten minutes. After our phone call I received an extremely detailed email on what to expect next and was able to have the best experience in the most stressful situation. I recently stored the contents of my one-bedroom apartment at 700 Block Storage, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They even provide complimentary carts to make loading and unloading so much easier. The staff and employees were fantastic — friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. When a few hiccups came up with my moving company, the team here went above and beyond to assist me and make sure everything went smoothly. I’m truly grateful for their help and the overall quality of the facility. I needed to find a storage facility near downtown SLC.  700 BLOCK STORAGE had a 5 star rating so I decided to call their office.  A guy named Logan answered the phone and was very kind & knowledgeable about what was available & prices. He said I could come look at it.  Logan gave me a tour of the facility and answered any questions I had. I called a few days later to inquire about their U-haul trucks and a different guy answered ( Dallas) and was as helpful as Logan. I now know why it's a 5 star facility! It was a great experience when I signed up to get a storage unit with 700 block Storage. There was no wait time, it was simple and fast. Great customer service! The whole storage building is very clean and smells clean. It's the best I've seen in many years, as I'm always moving and have been renting units in different states for over 40 years. Very secure. This might have been the only storage unit I’ve ever had, but it has been wonderful. The security is the one thing that I looked for the most and I think this is one of the most secure protected storage units in Salt Lake. Rented a U-Haul from here this Sunday and the U-Haul app and support were having issues that prevented me from picking up the van. I called support for the storage unit and the gentleman that answered the phone was able to help me. He told me he had to pull over because he was driving and he had kids in the car.
